Day 147

🌧 Title: Some Things Stay

📖 Scripture:

Eccles. 11:3 - If the clouds are full of rain, They empty themselves upon the earth; And if a tree falls to the south or the north, In the place where the tree falls, there it shall lie. (NKJV)

Some pains remain because not everything in life can be reversed.

There are moments when reality settles in, and no amount of wishing can change what already happened.

💡 LIGHTDROP INSIGHT

Ecclesiastes compares life to a fallen tree, once it falls, it remains where it lands.

Some outcomes are final.

Some seasons cannot be undone.

Acceptance is difficult because we often confuse it with defeat. But acceptance is not quitting. It is choosing peace over endless resistance.

This can look like:

✓ grieving lost opportunities

✓ accepting changed relationships

✓ living with consequences

✓ adjusting to unexpected realities

✓ learning to move forward after disappointment

Some healing begins only after denial ends.

⚖️ CORE SHIFT

You cannot heal from what you refuse to accept.

Peace grows when you stop fighting reality and start allowing God to meet you inside it.

🕯 REFLECTION

What truth am I still resisting because acceptance feels painful?

🙏 PRAYER

Father, help me stop fighting realities I cannot change.

Give me wisdom to accept what is final and strength to move forward with peace. Amen

✨ LIGHTDROP THOUGHT

Acceptance can become healing.
