🧠 Title: Build Memorials, Not Just Memories

📖 Scripture: Joshua 4:6–7

6 We will use these stones to build a memorial. In the future, your children will ask, `What do these stones mean to you?' (NLT)

7 Then you can tell them, `They remind us that the Jordan River stopped flowing when the Ark of the LORD's covenant went across.' These stones will stand as a permanent memorial among the people of Israel." (NLT)

We easily remember painful experiences but quickly forget God's goodness.

That is why God often told His people to build memorials.

💡 LIGHTDROP INSIGHT:

After Israel crossed the Jordan River, God instructed Joshua to gather twelve stones as a memorial.

The stones weren't for God; they were for the people.

They would remind future generations that impossible situations become possible when God goes before them.

Sometimes faith needs visible reminders of invisible grace.

Your answered prayers, journals, testimonies, and moments of breakthrough are spiritual memorials.

When difficult seasons come, revisit them. They remind you that God's faithfulness has a history.
