Sometimes we expect God to work in only one way.
We look for one miracle.
One answer.
One breakthrough.
When it doesn't come the way we imagined, we begin to wonder if God is working at all.
But what if He has been lifting you all along...
Just not in the way you expected?
Looking back over this week, one truth becomes clear:
God is never limited to one method.
Sometimes He lifts your head with His Word, speaking truth that silences fear.
Sometimes He lifts you with His Presence, reminding you that you are never alone.
Sometimes He lifts you through His Promises, giving you hope when nothing around you has changed.
Sometimes He sends His people, placing encouragement, wisdom, and strength in human vessels.
And sometimes He displays His power, doing what no human effort could ever accomplish.
The God who lifts heads is infinitely creative.
He knows exactly what your heart needs and exactly when you need it.
His methods may change.
His faithfulness never does.
Think about your own story.
Perhaps one season was carried by a single verse that kept you alive spiritually.
Another by a friend who refused to leave your side.
Another by an unexpected provision.
Another by an unmistakable miracle.
Looking back, you realize it wasn't luck.
It was God.
Patiently.
Faithfully.
Quietly lifting your head again and again.
When you recognize the many ways God works, you stop limiting Him to your expectations.
Your faith becomes broader.
Your gratitude becomes deeper.
Your confidence becomes stronger.
You no longer ask,
"Will God help me?"
You begin asking,
"Lord, how are You helping me today?"
That question changes everything.
Because it opens your eyes to His daily faithfulness.
Have I been so focused on one answer that I've overlooked the many ways God has already been lifting my head?
Father, thank You for the countless ways You care for me. Thank You for Your Word that guides me, Your Presence that comforts me, Your Promises that strengthen me, Your people who encourage me, and Your Power that accomplishes what I never could. Open my eyes to recognize Your hand in every season. May I never become so focused on what I want You to do that I fail to see what You are already doing. Continue to lift my head until my life becomes a testimony of Your unfailing love. In Jesus' name, Amen
God has more than one way to lift your head, but every way reveals the same faithful heart.
