THE BEAUTY OF PATIENCE

THE BEAUTY OF GOD UPON US

THE BEAUTY OF PATIENCE

God uses waiting to develop character.

“But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”
James 1:4 (NKJV)
–––

We often pray for God to change the situation.

But what if God is using the situation to change us?

We want the answer.

The breakthrough.

The open door.

The result.

But what if the waiting itself is part of the work?

Patience is not simply waiting for something to happen.

Biblical patience is remaining steady while God works.

Waiting exposes what rushing hides.

It reveals our anxiety.

Our need for control.

Our impatience with God's timing.

But it can also develop endurance, trust, maturity, and depth.

God doesn't waste waiting seasons.

Sometimes the answer is being delayed because something inside us is still being developed.

You may be waiting for marriage.

A job.

Financial stability.

A child.

Healing.

A ministry opportunity.

A business breakthrough.

And because the answer hasn't arrived, you may feel as though nothing is happening.

But beneath the surface, God may be building something you cannot yet see.

Here is the SHIFT:

Stop asking only:

“When will this season end?”

Start asking:

“Who is this season making me?”

Because sometimes the greatest miracle of a waiting season isn't what arrives at the end.

It is who you become before it arrives.

CARRY THE LIGHT

  • If I truly trust God's timing, why am I constantly trying to force what He has asked me to wait for?

Father, teach me to wait without becoming bitter, anxious, or desperate.
Develop patience in me.
Remove the need to force what You have not released.
Make me mature enough to carry what I am praying for when the time comes.
Amen.

Sometimes God delays the answer because He is developing the person who will carry it.
