28/9/2026 | Day 271
WHY ARE YOU DOING WHAT YOU DO?
---
You can be running around, busy as a bee, and still be building something that doesn’t really matter.
You might be putting in the hours, chasing after every opportunity, making money, and earning accolades, yet at the end of it all, you might find yourself asking:
“What was all this for?”
Purpose isn’t just about cramming more into your day. It’s about understanding the “why” behind your actions.
What if God cares not just about how hard you work, but also about the intention behind it?
Purpose gives your efforts a clear direction.
God didn’t create you just to go through the motions of life. He made you to contribute something meaningful.
Purpose doesn’t always have to be grand.
Sometimes it’s about raising children with love, serving others with dedication, running a business with integrity, teaching someone a valuable lesson, or creating something that truly helps.
Legacy often starts with the simple, everyday tasks done for a greater purpose.
You might not be in the spotlight, but if your work aligns with God’s purpose, your efforts hold significance that goes beyond what’s visible.
THE SHIFT:
CARRY THE LIGHT:
Before you dive into your tasks today, take a moment to reflect:
“Who will be better off because I did this well?”
Let that question guide your efforts.
Purpose gives your work a reason to endure beyond your time here.
