WILL YOU WORK WITH WHAT YOU HAVE?

Theme:
THE BEAUTY OF GOD UPON US

21/9/2026 | DAY 264

WILL YOU WORK WITH WHAT YOU HAVE?

God's beauty should influence how we work.

“The hand of the diligent will rule, But the lazy man will be put to forced labor.”
Prov. 12:24 (NKJV)

–––

We often pray:

“Lord, bless the work of my hands.”

But are we willing to put our hands to work?

We want results without process.

Harvest without planting.

Influence without preparation.

But can God establish what we consistently refuse to build?

Diligence is what happens when prayer meets responsibility.

Faith doesn't give us permission to be careless.

If God has given you a business, serve it diligently.

If He has given you a skill, sharpen it.

If He has given you a ministry, steward it.

If He has given you a family, nurture it.

The prayer of Psalm 90:17 isn't an excuse for inactivity.

It is a request that God establish what our hands are faithfully doing.

Sometimes we call something a spiritual battle when it is actually a discipline problem.

We pray for growth but don't improve.

We pray for customers but don't serve well.

We pray for excellence but tolerate mediocrity.

We ask God to bless our hands while giving Him very little to establish.

Here is the SHIFT:

Stop asking only:

“God, will You bless this?”

Start asking:

“Am I giving God something faithful to bless?”

CARRY THE LIGHT:

  • What is one thing in your hands that needs greater consistency today?

Do it.

Father, deliver me from laziness, inconsistency, and excuses.
Give me disciplined hands.
Teach me to work with excellence, patience, and faithfulness.
Establish the work I do as I faithfully steward what You have entrusted to me.
Amen.

Prayer asks God to establish the work; diligence gives Him something to establish.
